This year was a fun and very productive one here at the farms. We grew over 500 pounds of produce, and served over 400 customers. With the help of our amazing volunteers we were able to plant, tend to and harvest dozens of varieties of produce. Each week our youth farmers would show up to the farm eager to get started, sometimes we weed and others we harvest. We grew things like cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, squash, and eggplant. We have already begun planning our 2019 season and had Girl Scouts plant some savory summer garlic. Growing a garden is a place to experiment and learn. Come spring when our seedlings are ready for soil and we hope you will be a part of it.
